An amazing cleanser and purifier, Lemon has been known to be antiviral and anti-infectious. As a result it is considered the #1 oil to kill bacteria.
According to Dr. Jean Valnet, when tested against other essential oils for airborne germs, lemon came out as the number one disinfectant for the air. It will also act as an immune stimulant. Lemon Essential Oil can be used in blended massage oils or diluted in the bath to assist with digestive problems, lack of energy, fatigue, infections, flu, obesity, overweight, rheumatism, depression, stress and as a general tonic. Helps to protect against infections, aids the digestive system, soothes headaches, migraines and muscular problems and clears greasy skin and hair.
Lemon oil can be very beneficial to the circulatory system and aids with blood flow, reducing blood pressure and helping with nosebleeds. It may bring down fever, helps relieve throat infections, bronchitis, asthma and flu. It is known to boost the immune system and cleanses the body, improves the functions of the digestive system, and it is helpful with constipation, dyspepsia and cellulite.
Lemon oil is known to sooth and relieves headache. Lemon essential oil has also been shown to be helpful for rheumatism and arthritis. It is also used for clearing acne, cleaning greasy skin and hair, as well as removing dead skin cells, easing painful cold sores, mouth ulcers, herpes and insect bites. BATH: Add 15-20 drops to warm bath.
DIFFUSION: Diffuse 15 drops at a time, throughout the day, to create an uplifting and stimulating work environment.
MASSAGE: Dilute 5-10 drops per 1 tablespoon massage oil. Gently massage as needed.
INHALATION: For a quick pick me up, place 1-2 drops on a cloth and inhale. Keep cloth in a bag and carry with you.
